It can cause differences between them gradually and may be impossible to overcome. With time and age, children may end up ignoring or fighting their parent’s beliefs or vice versa, leading to both parties becoming frustrated and resentful. Talking about our struggles and understanding them can help us have a non-toxic and healthy relationship with our parents. Navigating through the differences and keeping each other’s perspective in mind can make the environment at home more joyful.
