What do we do?

In a nutshell, we actively work to remind you of that one simple phrase,
“You are Not Alone.”

To do that, we conduct clinically moderated , topic-based support group meet-ups for people
from all walks of life. They are designed to extend help and support to participants as they
navigate through their unique mental health journeys.

With the help of our participants, we aim to co-create a space where every single member can feel safe, heard and share a sense of belonging. We are one big family who believe in growing stronger together!

Want to grow with us?

What makes us

Different?

We set ourselves apart from others by doing one simple thing –
We begin at the beginning.

Mental Health Support often tends to revolve around what we understand to be bigger Mental Health Disorders. But where do these disorders begin?
What are the smaller issues that eventually grow
to become such concerns?

Most of us end up ignoring those first signs.
We decided to start there.
Where it all Begins.

And so, our support group meet-ups are organised around simple everyday issues that we experience. From struggles like Social Media Addiction to concerns like Body Shaming, we hold up a light to exactly those issues that you might be brushing under the carpet and dismissing as ‘nothing’.

We care about your ‘nothings’.
We want to help you talk about them.
Our Everything begins with Your Nothing.

We don’t believe in big words. We believe in big work.

To that end, our support groups do not just center around conventional mental health issues. Instead, they deal with simple everyday things that sometimes make our lives difficult and can
leave us feeling distressed.

But no matter what the topic, you can always count on us to:

Provide you with a safe space where you can voice your feelings

Make you feel heard and acknowledged owing to our small-knit group of participants.

Surround you with people who are going through a similar experience.

Leave you with a few coping mechanisms to help you handle the issue at hand.

Follow a strict no-judgements policy so you can talk freely about anything.

Have a practising therapist on board to help moderate the conversation.

The Trust Test

We know what you’re thinking,

“Why should I believe you?”
And you’re absolutely right!

Instead, you can have a look at what others say about us and then come to a decision. Because Seeing is Believing, right? So go ahead, and see for yourself what our previous support group participants have to tell you,
and maybe then, you can think of giving us a chance?

WAMH Team

Meet the Founder

Established by Shivya Gupta, the We’re All MAD Here (WAMH) Foundation was created with a vision to provide people with a safe space to talk openly about their Mental Health struggles, which she believes is the first step towards self-healing.

Having grown up in a boarding school in Dehradun, Shivya had the opportunity to meet and interact with different kinds of people, which is how she discovered that she had a penchant for making a person feel at home, no matter what the circumstances. With her inherent ability to grow meaningful connections, Shivya decided to co-create a space where people from all walks of life can unite over shared struggles and experiences. The WAMH foundation was the plant which grew from that seedling of an idea.

A recipient of the Duke of Edinburgh award, Shivya’s diverse range of interests include everything from dancing and basketball to retreats tucked away in the lap of nature. With the WAMH foundation, she hopes to help alleviate the stigma around mental health, by encouraging and empowering people to change the conversations around it.
